Russian Cats Banned from Competing On World Stage

The International Cat Federation has banned Russian Felines from competition. The Fédération Internationale Féline which hosts over 700 cat shows a year says it cannot stand by and watch atrocities without doing something.
Such virtue signaling, symbolic moves have been criticised as being meaningless. Political sanctions are one thing but organisations that play politics on their own are fooling themselves if they think they are making a difference.
Chicken Kiev and Russian Vodka are also apparently being either rebranded or withdrawn from shelves. Brand names that bare a resemblance to the name ‘Putin’ are reportedly being rebranded too.
