Ukraine’s Infrastructure Decimated

According to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian missile strikes have destroyed more than 30% of the country’s critical infrastructure in the last week. Power stations in particular have been targeted with electricity being cut off in cities across Ukraine. The attacks have created blackouts and have also cut off water supplies.
Hospitals are now running on backup generators. There have been reports that a Russian missile struck an apartment building, killing one person while Russia has said that it has no intention of targeting civilians.

The Ukrainian President has been appealing to the West for more money and military equipment but signs are that sympathetic governments are seeing Ukraine as being either a lost cause or a black hole for resources.
